Standard Sensors

Vallen Systeme is able to offer AE-sensors for almost every application. The most commonly used sensor models are:

• VS150-M    150 kHz resonant, multi-purpose sensor which needs an external preamplifier such as the AEP4.
• VS150-RIC  150 kHz resonant, with integrated preamplifier and pulse-through capability. This type of sensor is mostly used for integrity tests of pressure equipment
• VS375-RIC  375 kHz resonant, with integrated preamplifier and pulse-through capability. A VS375-RIC sensor is suitable for crack detection in noisy environments
• VS30-SIC   23-80 kHz, low frequency, with integrated preamplifier and pulse-through capability. This sensor type is used for monitoring corrosion or leakage in large diameter flat bottom storage tanks.
