The VS30-V is a passive piezoelectric AE sensor. The low frequency response makes it especially suited for monitoring large objects or objects made of highly attenuating material. The VS30-V can be used for tank floor corrosion and leak detection, leak detection in pipelines, partial discharge detection and integrity testing of concrete structures. Remark to frequency response curve below: cable used RG 178 / 0.3 m. VS30-V has 6 dB less sensitivity if used with 1.2 m long cable.
